Prior to Co-founding Clearly IP, Tony was the COO of Sangoma Technologies. Sangoma Technologies Corporation is publicly traded on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX VENTURE: STC). In the 4 years at Sangoma he oversaw the explosive growth of Sangoma from a stagnant 12 Million dollar a year micro cap company to over 120 Million in Revenue. He joined Sangoma through the acquisition of his former start up company called Schmooze Com Inc in 2015 which included the SIPStation and FreePBX product lines. Tony has expert knowledge of FreePBX, Asterisk and other open source platforms and their capabilities, he has taught numerous classes and speaks at international events.
Tony comes from an entrepreneurial background successfully starting and running various companies and brings a wide background in aggressive management in sales, development and marketing to Clearly IP along with a good understanding of public markets, raising capital and the selling or purchasing of complex businesses from the actual purchase and financing down to the integration of two businesses post closing. He has overseen and lead acquisitions ranging from 300 thousand to 36 million dollars ranging from simple capitalization structures to complex multi tier shareholders and stock preferences.
When he is not working, you can find him spending time with his wife and 8 kids at their summer lake cottage and tries to keep current with his Private Pilots license as his primary hobbies.
CFO and Co-Founder
Prior to starting Clearly IP, Luke was the VP of Operations of Sangoma Technologies. Sangoma Technologies Corporation is publicly traded on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX VENTURE: STC). In the 4 years at Sangoma he worked in software engineering, was the IT Director, and eventually ran operations. Using his unique set of skills, he automated much of the operations processes, and implemented systems to prevent mistakes.
Luke comes from an entrepreneurial and IT background successfully owning and operating multiple businesses in multiple fields.
CTO and Co-Founder
Prior to co-founding Clearly IP, Bryan was VP of Software Engineering at Sangoma Technologies (TSX VENTURE: STC), which he joined through the 2015 acquisition of Schmooze Com, Inc. At Sangoma, Bryan oversaw and built out a global software engineering team that was responsible for some of Sangoma Technologies most known products in both the on-premise and cloud space and managing a team of 40 plus developers located all across the world.
Prior to joining Sangoma Technologies, Bryan was intimately involved in the open source community contributing to various projects over the years with some of the most notable ones being both the Asterisk and FreePBX projects with he later oversaw.
Bryan was also the Chief Technology Officer at Schmooze Com, Inc where he spearheaded the efforts to make security a key focus and made the FreePBX Distro the most secure open source Asterisk distribution available. While at Schmooze, Bryan also had an impact on making the backend management and distribution systems that flawlessly support the millions of FreePBX installs out in the world today.
Bryan has a bachelor degree in Information Technology with a focus in Software Engineering and an associates degree in Business Administration.
VP of Software Engineering
Prior to joining Clearly IP, Andrew was Director of FreePBX Engineering at Sangoma Technologies (TSX VENTURE: STC), which he joined through the 2015 acquisition of Schmooze Com, Inc overseeing the explosive growth of FreePBX to over 20 thousand new installs a month and millions of active systems worldwide. He managed a diverse large group of developers around the world to develop and deliver the product while working with Sales and Product Management to deliver the key features on time and in budget.
Andrew graduated from California State University Fullerton in 2008 and released his first open source software project in 2009, Endpoint Manager for the telecommunications software FreePBX. Andrew strongly believes in Open Source Software and providing users and developers with proper documentation. In his free time Andrew is part of a cycling group and also works as a freelance projection and sound designer for theatrical shows to keep his sanity while having fun with these hobbies.
